MTA2011-The Precision Engineering Industry Event welcomed over 500 exhibitors and over 13,000 international attendees from more than 50 countries / regions at the event.

With group pavilions from Czech Republic, Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, and United Kingdom showcasing the latest technologies and manufacturing capabilities to meet the needs of the precision engineering industries, this event has proven to be the ideal sourcing ground for Asia.

With a specialfocus on the vertical industries, these companies showcased their manufacturing capabilities in Aerospace, Medical Technology and Oil & Gas Manufacturing. 

Coupled with strong showmanship and firm endorsements from relevant trade associations, encouraging visitor presence were felt from countries / regions such as China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

It has been a successful and rewarding time for both exhibitors and visitors at the event. Deals were closed, with transactions valued amounting to millions of dollars.

International Conference on Optics in Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology (icOPEN)
This inaugural conference organised by Optics and Photonics Society of Singapore brought together industry and academia to discuss leading edge technologies and developments inoptics which is the new driving force in the precision engineering andnanotechnology community.

MTA2011 Industry Night It was a fun-filled night with entertainment as theexhibitors and invited guests celebrated the opening day of MTA2011.
	Networking Reception A networking session was held for invited VIPs to mingle withthe industry players in the precision engineering industries.
Federation of Asian Die & Mould Associations (FADMA) Council Meeting The Federation of Asian Die & Mould Associations(FADMA) held their council meeting with its member associations alongside MTA2011.
	Singapore Precision Engineering & Tooling Association (SPETA) Annual General Meeting One of MTA2011's supporting organisations, SPETA, organised their Annual General Meeting alongside the exhibition.
