5 – 7 April, Wednesday – Friday | 9.00am – 6.00pm | Singapore Expo, Peridot 205 and 206, Level 2
The Optics and Photonics Society of Singapore (OPSS) will be hosting its Fifth Edition of the International Conference on Optical and Photonic Engineering – icOPEN2017 on 5 – 7 April 2017 @ Singapore Expo, alongside with MTA 2017. Optical and Photonic Engineering has been given a major boost in Singapore in the last two years with the formation of The Photonics Institute at the Nanyang Technological University, the LUX Photonics Consortium with support from the National Research Foundation, the COLE/OPSS Optical Engineering Masterclass in the Workforce Development Agency’s Advanced Manufacturing Initiative. This makes the icOPEN2017 a unique venue where East meets West in a country at the forefront of research and development. icOPEN2017 will build on its past achievements to further promote greater interaction between academia and industries and to provide a forum for discussing cutting edge technologies both in the research front and those closer to industry.
The scientific programme will consist of invited and contributed papers. Contributed papers may be selected for oral or poster presentation.
To ensure a high-quality conference, all abstracts and proceedings manuscripts will be reviewed by the Conference Chair/Editor for technical merit and suitability of content. This conference will result in full manuscript Chairs/Editor-reviewed volumes published in the Proceedings of SPIE. SPIE will submit the Proceedings for indexing in Web of Science Conference Proceedings Citation Index-Science.
