MTA2007, once again concluded on a high note with over 860 exhibiting companies from more than 30 countries and local and international visitors exceeding 13,700 gathered at the event.


With group pavilions from Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Czech Republic and United Kingdom showcasing the latest technology and equipment to meet the needs of the metalworking and precision engineering industries, this event has proven to be the ideal sourcing ground for Asia.


Coupled with strong showmanship and firm endorsements from relevant trade associations, encouraging visitor presence were felt from countries such as China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

It has been a successful and rewarding time for both exhibitors and visitors at the event. Deals were closed, with transactions valued amounting to million of dollars.


A Lucky Draw was open to all qualified trade visitors who register for and attend MTA2007, held in Singapore from 28 – 31 March 2007, Singapore Expo. And, a grand draw was held on the 31 March, 2007 by Mr. William Lim, representing Singapore exhibition Services.

MTA 2009 will return on 25 – 28 March 2009 @ Singapore Expo.

 
With 13,778 local and international visitors from 50 countries, MTA2007, through its extensive marketing efforts, has attracted strong industry group delegations from China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan and Korea.

 
The event saw over 870 exhibiting companies from Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK, USA and Vietnam.

 
MTA2007 Manufacturing Technology Forum
More than 140 attended the MTA2007 Manufacturing Technology Forum to gain unparalleled insights and perspective from regional and international experts from industry and the research community for companies to strategise and achieve excellence. The event was jointly organised by Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) and Singapore Exhibition Services (SES).
The forum gathered the exchange of ideas and
knowledge of the latest manufacturing trends and
industry applications in Aerospace, Electronics,
Biomedical, Automotive
and Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID).

 

Conferences at MTA2009 promise more exciting developments and best practices.


SIMTech Annual Manufacturing Forum 2007 (AMF’07)
SIMTech AMF’07 is an annual event that brings together high-level corporate decision-makers and researchers for critical discussions and analysis of technology trends and challenges facing the manufacturing industry. About 120 attended the Annual Manufacturing
Lecture by Dr Robert W Schumacher from Delphi Electronics, and the four Parallel Technical Sessions, jam-packed coverage of new automotive technologies, market trends, creative insights
and industry applications.

This year, the manufacturing event is jointly organized by Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) and Singapore Exhibition Services (SES), held in conjunction with MTA2007.

 
Site Visit
Overseas delegations groups were treated to a value-added experience through the visits to education & training institutions such as Nanyang Polytechnic and Institute of Technical Education as well as assembly plants which include Makino Asia, NanoTechnology Manufacturing, Trend West and Univac Precision Engineering.
 
Technology Development Showcase
Technology Development and innovation is today’s buzz word. 3 tertiary institutions, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS) and Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) used MTA2007 as the platform to showcase their commercially viable innovations.
